CAA Niagara's Senior Driving Expo focuses on maintaining mobility

THOROLD, Ontario (Oct. 6, 2014) CAA Niagara expects more than 300 mature drivers will attend its first Road Wise Senior Driving Expo this Wednesday at Club Roma in St. Catharines. "With the second highest proportion of seniors in Ontario, we know that this type of event is very much needed in Niagara," said Rick Mauro, CAA's Vice President of Marketing and Public Relations. The expo will feature presentations from the Ontario Ministry of Transportation regarding new regulations for drivers age 80 and over. An interactive aspect of the expo is a high-tech driving simulator that helps seniors self-assess their skills in a safe environment.
