CAA Niagara participated in the annual Walk a Mile in HER Shoes fundraiser

On Oct. 19 2014 CAA Niagara participated in the annual Walk a Mile in HER Shoes fundraiser in support of women's shelter, Gillian's Place. Donning high heels, the "CAA Niagara Toe Truckers" team joined over 200 other walkers in a march against violence towards women and children. Instead of fixing flats, CAA passed out "flats" to any man in need of a break from walking in heels. Walkers raised $86,000 for Gillian's Place, which offers hope to women and children by providing safety and support to end violence and abuse.
